Work that began over a decade and a half ago across several companies and research from best in class behavioral health scientists at Stanford University forms the basis for Canary Peers services and approaches. Canary has been delighting and engaging users in digital peer support programs for almost a decade.

More than 10,000 participants have improved their lives using Better Choices, Better Health® or Building Better Caregivers®. Participants with chronic conditions have improved health behaviors and outcomes such as increased exercise and healthy eating habits, better communication with the healthcare team, lower depression symptoms, decreased A1c values, improved medication adherence, and reduced healthcare costs.  Caregivers have had a reduction in stress, improved health behaviors, and improved health outcomes for the person they are caring for.

Building Better Caregivers® (BBC) is a peer support program for Caregivers caring for adults with a cognitive impairment such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, or other serious injury or disease. BBC is recognized by the National Family Caregiver Alliance as a best practice program.
